Released on June 20, ,[1] it was mostly well recieved by critics[2][3][4] and a commercial success, peaking at #1 on the Billboard and having spent four weeks there.[5] The album is certified triple platinum.

    Three singles were released- "Pieces of Me", "Shadow", and "La La", and the title track was used as the theme song to Simpson's MTVreality TV show "The Ashlee Simpson Show".
