Chakali Ilamma, a pivotal figure in Telangana’s anti-feudal struggle, continues to inspire as her legacy of resistance against oppression is celebrated today. A Dalit woman who led peasant revolts in the 1940s, Ilamma’s courage symbolizes strength and resilience in the fight for justice and social equality in Telangana.
